Getting Started
Card2Tap is a digital profile and smart-sharing platform for individuals and teams. Your Card2Tap profile brings your contact details, services, links and brand together on one page that you can update at any time. You share it with an NFC tap, a QR code, an Apple Wallet or Google Wallet pass, or your profile link.
Related help: What is Card2Tap? · How Card2Tap Works
No. Card2Tap can be used digitally through your public profile, QR code, Apple Wallet and Google Wallet. Physical NFC products are optional.
Related help: Do I need a physical Card2Tap product? · Can I subscribe without buying a physical card?
You build your profile in My Card2Tap and publish it. People open it by tapping your NFC product, scanning your QR code, opening your link or your Wallet pass. It opens as a normal web page in their phone’s browser.
Related help: How Card2Tap Works
Create your account when you check out — checkout always uses an account, so your plan or product is linked to it automatically once payment is confirmed. You can also create one on the My Account page with your email address and a password.

Not for a product you buy online: you create your account at checkout, and the product is linked to it automatically when your payment is confirmed. Sign in and My Card2Tap opens so you can build your profile.
A product you received another way — as a gift, at an event or from your company — is activated with the setup code in its packaging. Tap it with your phone, scan its setup QR code, or enter the code at card2tap.com/a/.

My Card2Tap
My Card2Tap is your dashboard. You use it to edit and publish your profile, share it, see who contacted you, and manage your NFC products, orders and plan.

As soon as your payment is confirmed — we email you when it is ready. Returning customers simply sign in; you don’t need to buy again to reach your dashboard.

Open Overview in My Card2Tap and select Publish profile. You need a name or a company first. After that, saved changes go live straight away.

Yes. Select Preview on the Profile page, use the live preview in Themes, or select View draft at the top of My Card2Tap. Previews never publish anything.
Related help: How do I preview my profile before publishing?
Yes: you can have one profile per Card2Tap card you own, and always at least one. Select New profile at the top of My Card2Tap, or select Give it its own profile on a product in NFC Products.

Analytics shows profile views, card taps and other visitor actions. Every plan gets 7- and 30-day totals; Professional and Premium add 12 months and charts.

Profiles & Contact Details
- Name, job title, company and a short description
- Profile photo or logo and a banner
- Contact details with action buttons: phone, email, website, social links, a Google review link, Google Maps directions and more
- Products & services and a gallery of images and videos
- Appointment requests and custom sections, on the plans that include them
- A theme and accent colour
You choose what to publish, and you can change it at any time.

Yes, at any time. Your card holds its own permanent NFC link, so profile changes show as soon as you save — you never need to reprogram the card. What is printed on a physical product (names, logo, artwork) does not change.
Related help: Does changing my profile require reprogramming my card?
Only once you publish it — drafts stay private. A published profile can be seen by anyone with your profile link, QR code, NFC product or Wallet pass, so publish only what you are comfortable sharing. While you have an active plan you can unpublish it in My Card2Tap; without one, ask us and we will do it. See our Privacy Policy.

The Save contact button on your profile adds your contact details to the visitor’s phone, so they have your number and email without typing them.
Related help: The “Save contact” and “Exchange contact” buttons
Exchange contact works the other way round: a visitor sends you their own name and contact details through a short form, after ticking the permission box. They appear under Contacts in My Card2Tap and you get an email. You can switch the form off in Advanced settings.

Yes, on the Profile page under Your Card2Tap Web Address. Your old address forwards visitors to the new one, but update anything you printed or shared with it when you can — such as a QR code. Your NFC products keep working: each one has its own permanent link.

Copy your review link from your Google Business Profile (Ask for reviews), then add it in Contact details with the type Google review and a label such as Write a Review. On Professional and Premium, Link Finder can check the link for you first.

NFC & QR
NFC lets a phone read a small chip from a few centimetres away. When someone taps a compatible phone near your Card2Tap NFC product, your profile opens in their browser. On an iPhone, hold the card near the top of the phone; on Android, hold it against the back with NFC switched on.
Related help: What is NFC? · How to tap a Card2Tap card on iPhone and Android
No. A tap, a QR scan or your link opens your profile as a normal web page in the phone’s browser. Nothing needs to be installed.
Related help: Does the other person need an app?
Yes. In NFC Products, choose another of your profiles under Profile it opens and select Change profile. To give the card to someone else, use Transfer ownership: they accept it in their own Card2Tap account. Team Owners and Admins can reassign Team cards to another member. The card keeps its own permanent NFC link, so no reprogramming is needed — but anything printed on it stays the same.

The card is linked to your account when your payment is confirmed. Give it to them with Transfer ownership in My Card2Tap → NFC Products: enter the email address of their Card2Tap account and confirm with your password. They accept while signed in with that email within 7 days, then choose which of their profiles it opens. Until then, it stays yours.

In My Card2Tap under Share & QR. Scanning it opens your public profile. Download it as SVG for print or PNG for screens, keep the white border, and test it before printing.
Related help: Where can I find my QR code? · Share and print your QR code
No. Editing your profile does not change your QR code. It changes only if you change your profile web address, and old codes still redirect for a while.
Related help: Does changing my profile change my QR code?
A product you buy online in your Card2Tap account is connected automatically when your payment is confirmed — nothing to do. A product you received another way (a gift, an event, your company, a spare) you activate yourself:
- Tap it with your phone, scan the setup QR code in the packaging, or go to card2tap.com/a/ and enter the setup code (C2T-XXXX-XXXX).
- Sign in, or create a free account.
- Confirm it’s yours with the setup code.
- Choose which of your profiles it opens, or create a new one, tick the box and select Activate.
A setup code works once and expires after a set time. Lost or expired? Contact Card2Tap Support online. Team products are assigned by the Team’s owner or admins instead.

In My Card2Tap → NFC Products, select Report lost or stolen on the product. From then on a tap shows a neutral “unavailable” page with nothing about you. Found it? Select Switch back on. For a replacement, contact Card2Tap Support online: we make a new product with a new link that opens the same profile, and the old one stops working for good.

Professional and Premium are not included. They are optional upgrades you can choose on the product page or in your bag (charged once per order).
Related help: Which plan comes with my product? · Choosing your plan when you order
Yes. Buy the higher plan from your dashboard or the Plans page. It starts at payment, lasts 12 months and includes everything in the plans below it. You pay the higher plan’s price — it is not prorated — and your current plan runs until its own end date.
Related help: Upgrade your plan
Card2Tap plans are valid for 12 months. At the end of the term, you must renew the plan to continue paid access. Current renewals are manual unless otherwise shown at checkout.
Related help: Renew your plan
No. Current Card2Tap plans do not automatically renew. Each plan is valid for 12 months, and you must renew manually after the term ends unless a different renewal arrangement is clearly shown at checkout in the future.
We email you a reminder 14 days before your plan ends. Renew from My Card2Tap or the Plans page; an early renewal starts when your current plan ends.
Related help: Renew your plan
In My Account under Subscription & plans, select Cancel plan. You keep access until the end date and stop getting renewal reminders. Since plans never renew automatically, you can also simply let your plan end. Cancelling does not refund the time already paid for.
Related help: Cancel your plan
Except where required by applicable law, digital plan payments are generally final. If you believe Card2Tap made a billing or service error, contact Card2Tap promptly, preferably within 7 days, so the issue can be reviewed. Full details: Terms & Conditions.

Link Finder, on Professional and Premium, helps you add your Google review, Google Maps, website and social links to Contact details. You paste a link or username — or let it read your website for the links it shows — check the exact link it will use, choose This is mine, then add it.

No. A Team seat controls a member’s digital access. A physical card is separate hardware and does not create an additional Team seat. One member can have multiple physical cards without consuming additional seats.
Related help: What is a Team seat?
Yes. In Physical products, Owners and Admins select Assign or Reassign — or Assign several for many cards at once — to choose which member a card opens. The card keeps its own permanent NFC link, so no reprogramming is needed — but names or artwork printed on a personalized card cannot change.

Troubleshooting
- Check that your profile is published and opens from its link.
