Before you start

  • Sign in to My Card2Tap with the account you used when you ordered or signed up.
  • Publish your profile. The pass’s QR code opens your public profile, so the pass can’t be created until your profile is published. See How do I publish my profile?
  • Have an active plan. Wallet passes are included in every Card2Tap plan, team plans too. If your plan ends, the Wallet buttons disappear until you renew.
  • Use your Android phone and Chrome. That is the easiest way to save the pass to Google Wallet.

Add your pass

  1. Sign in on your Android phone

Open My Card2Tap in Chrome and sign in.

    Open My Card2Tap

The My Card2Tap sign-in screen on a phone
  2. Open your profile

Your profile opens on the Overview page. If you have more than one card, choose it at the top of My Card2Tap. Check that it says Published.

  3. Find the Wallet pass panel

It is on the Overview page and on Share & QR, under “Save your card to your phone”. It also shows whether Google Wallet is available.

  5. Confirm

Follow Google’s steps to save the pass (sign in to your Google account if Google asks). The pass is saved in Google Wallet — open it and tap the pass to show its QR code whenever someone wants your details.

What the pass shows

Your name, job title and company, your profile photo and banner, your description, links to your profile, phone, email and website, and a QR code that opens your profile. The background colour comes from your profile theme.

Troubleshooting

The Add to Google Wallet button is missing

The Wallet pass panel shows a message instead of the buttons when something is missing:

  • “Publish your profile first…” — your profile is still a draft: select Publish profile on Overview.
  • “Wallet passes are not configured yet”, or Google Wallet shows “Not available” — this is on Card2Tap’s side. Everything else on your profile keeps working; try again later.
  • If your plan has ended, renew it in Subscription & plans.
The button does not open Google Wallet

Use Chrome on your Android phone. If you opened My Card2Tap from inside another app (for example your email), open it in Chrome instead.

Google Wallet will not save my pass

Make sure you are signed in to a Google account when Google asks. Check that your profile is published and that the Wallet pass panel shows Google Wallet “Available”. Wait a few minutes and try again. If it still doesn’t save, contact Support with your profile address, your phone model and the exact message you saw.

My profile information looks outdated

Google Wallet passes update on their own about a minute after you save your profile. Wait a few minutes, then close and reopen Google Wallet. Check that your changes were saved and your profile is published. More: Updating your Google Wallet pass.

Google Wallet shows an error

If a Card2Tap page says Google Wallet “is temporarily unavailable”, it is on Card2Tap’s side: try again later. If Google shows an error, wait a few minutes and try again. If it keeps happening, contact Support with the exact message.
