Change your profile web address

Your web address is the last part of your profile link, for example card2tap.com/p/your-name/. You can change it on the Profile page.

1. Open Web address. On the Profile page, find the Profile address field.
2. Type the new address. Use 3–40 lowercase letters, numbers or single hyphens, starting and ending with a letter or number. Spaces become hyphens automatically.
3. Check it is free. Wait for the message saying the address is available.
4. Save. Select Save changes.

What happens to your old address

• NFC cards keep working. They use their own permanent tap link, so there is nothing to reprogram.
• Old links and QR codes are redirected to the new address for your last three addresses, while your profile is published.
• Update anything printed or shared with the old address, such as flyers or email signatures, and download a new QR code from Share & QR.
• Apple Wallet passes don’t update themselves. Add your pass again to refresh it. A Google Wallet pass updates on its own.
