Team card designs and approval

Each personalized card goes from Not started to Draft, Needs review and Approved. You approve every proof with a confirmation checkbox.

Every Team card is printed from an approved design. For personalized cards, each card has its own Design status.

Design statuses

  • Not started: nothing entered for this card yet.
  • Draft: a name or title is set or changed, but there is no current proof.
  • Needs review: a proof was made and is waiting for your approval.
  • Approved: the proof is approved for printing.

Approve the designs

  1. Approve the shared team design. Personalize the card in the designer, create the proof and approve it.
  2. Check each printed name and title. Choosing a member fills in their name and title. You can edit them.
  3. Create the proofs. Select Create proof on a card, or Create all proofs.
  4. Approve each proof. Select Approve to see the proof, tick “I checked this proof: name, title and spelling are correct. I approve it for printing.” and select Approve this proof.

To approve several at once, tick “I checked every proof waiting for review: names, titles and spelling are correct.” and select Approve all proofs. Check every proof first: printed cards cannot change later.

Add to bag stays blocked until every assigned card is approved. If you change a card’s name or title, it goes back to Draft. If you change the shared team design or the design type, the card proofs must be created and approved again.

Designing unassigned cards later

Cards you keep unassigned can be designed after the order. In Physical products, select Design, enter the Printed name and Printed title, select Create proof, tick the checkbox and select Approve design. This works while the order is paid and not yet completed. The order is ready for production only when every card’s design is approved.
