Yes, if you choose it for a service. Each service has a setting called When someone requests it:
- I approve each request (the default): the visitor sends a request, it stays Pending and nothing is booked until you approve it. Visitors are told the time isn’t confirmed until you approve it.
- Confirm automatically: the visitor books straight away. They see Booked straight away. and a Book appointment button, and the appointment is Confirmed as soon as they book.
What happens with automatic confirmation
- The visitor gets a confirmation email with Add to calendar and Manage appointment links, plus reminders if you use them.
- You get a bell notice (“New appointment with …”) and, if appointment emails are on, an email saying the appointment is already in your calendar.
- Your rules still apply: visitors only see free times inside your availability, after your minimum notice and with your buffers.
- You can still suggest another time or cancel it from the appointment’s details.
Change the setting
- Open Services. Go to the Services tab of Appointment requests.
- Edit the service. Select its edit button.
- Pick an option. Under When someone requests it, choose I approve each request or Confirm automatically, then save.
You can mix both. For example, confirm short phone calls automatically and approve in-person visits yourself. Each service in the list shows Confirms automatically or You approve each request.
