Appointment Requests let people ask for a time with you straight from your Card2Tap profile. A visitor chooses a service, picks a free time and sends a request. Nothing is booked until you approve it, unless you set that service to Confirm automatically.
Appointment Requests are part of the Professional and Premium plans, and of Team Professional and Team Premium. Visitors don’t need an account or an app.
How it works
- You set it up. In Appointment requests, you add the services people can request and the hours you’re available.
- A visitor sends a request. They tap the Request Appointment button on your profile (or the button text you chose), or open your request link, then choose a service, a date and time, and enter their details.
- You’re notified. The request appears in the bell at the top of your dashboard, and you get an email if appointment emails are on.
- You answer. Approve it, decline it or suggest another time. The visitor gets an email either way.
Good to know
- Visitors only see free times inside your availability. While a request is Pending, its time is held, so nobody else can request it.
- Name and email are always asked. You decide whether to ask for a phone number or a note.
- Visitors can show the times in their own time zone.
- If you don’t answer before the requested time arrives, the request closes automatically and the visitor is told.
- Notifications are sent by email and shown in the dashboard bell. There are no text message (SMS) notifications.
Card2Tap doesn’t take payments for appointments. A price on a service is only text, such as “Free” or “$80”.
