Every contact detail has a label. You can keep the default, write your own, or show only the label as a button.
Label and value
With Label and value, visitors see a small label above the value, for example “Office” above your phone number. Type it in Label (optional), up to 60 characters. Leave it empty to show the type, such as “Phone”.
Label only
With Label only, visitors see just the label, like a button, and the value isn’t printed. Tapping it still calls, texts or opens the link. If you leave the label empty, Card2Tap uses one that matches the tap action:
- Call: “Call me”
- Text message (SMS): “Text me”
- WhatsApp: “Message me on WhatsApp”
- Email: “Email me”
- Open website: “Visit my website”
- Map and directions: “Get directions”
- Custom link: “Open link”
Label only doesn’t keep information private. The value is still used when someone taps the label, it is included in your Save contact card, and anyone who inspects the link can see it.
Good to know
Phone numbers and addresses set to Label only are not shown on your Wallet passes. To change a label later, select the edit button beside the detail in Contact details.
