A Google Maps button lets visitors open directions to your business. In Link Finder, choose Add next to Google Maps. You can make the link from your address or paste your own.
Option 1: Make the link
- Enter your details. Type your Business name, your Street address (optional) and your City. You need the name and either the address or the city.
- Choose Make the link. Card2Tap builds a Google Maps directions link from exactly what you typed. It’s labelled Maps directions link because it isn’t a search result.
- Preview and open it. Choose Preview, then Open link, and check that Google Maps finds your place.
- Confirm and add. Choose This is mine, use this link, pick button text such as Get Directions, Find Us or View Location, then choose Add to my profile.
If Google Maps opens the wrong place, go back and add your full street address, or use option 2.
Option 2: Paste your Maps link
- Copy it from Google Maps. Find your business in Google Maps and choose Share, then Copy link.
- Paste and check. Under or paste your link, paste it into Your Google Maps link and choose Check this link. Then confirm and add it as above.
Google links often can’t be checked automatically, so yours may show Not checked. Open it once yourself to be sure. You can also add your street address in Contact details with the Map and directions tap action.
