Before you approve, Card2Tap checks your design against your product’s print template. Each check says what it found in plain words, with a link to learn more.
The four results
- Ready to print — everything checks out. Continue to approval.
- Ready with warnings — it can be printed, but something may not look its best, such as an image close to the minimum resolution. Fix it or continue with warnings.
- Manual review required — a person at Card2Tap checks the file and emails you. This happens, for example, while a product’s exact print size is still being confirmed with our supplier, for spot colours, Illustrator files without PDF compatibility, or effects we can’t check automatically.
- Failed — it needs a change before printing, such as the wrong size, an image that would print blurry, or fonts that aren’t embedded. Upload a corrected file, or ask a designer.
What is checked
- Size against the product’s artwork size, and bleed.
- Text and logos inside the safe area.
- Text size and contrast, so it’s easy to read.
- Image resolution at print size.
- Fonts embedded or outlined.
- Colours ready for printing (RGB and CMYK are accepted).
- The QR code’s size, contrast and quiet zone.
- For uploads: password protection, scripts or links (removed from SVGs and reported), and the file’s readability.
